The society is a group of enthusiasts who have an interest in model engineering of all types, mainly trains and model steam engines.
There is a marine division catering for radio control boats of all types.
Location is on Anderson Park Napier New Zealand where we have a 900 metre railway catering for 3 1/2 inch, 5 inch and at present laying 7 1/4 inch gauge track for larger scale engines etc..
A good sized lake is available for the boating people and attracts a lot of interest where picnics on the lake shore are common.
The railway runs around the lake, over a bridge, through a tunnel to the station.
Open every Sunday from about 11.30am until 4pm waether permitting.
