We are all like minded people that just enjoy motorcycling, it doesn't matter what you ride, it could be a sports bike or a cruiser, or even a scooter, or even a dirt MX bike. It doesn't matter if its a Harley or Jappa, or European, The main thing is that you are riding and you enjoy your scoot and you enjoy riding.
This site is designed to be a community focal point where people can orginise rides, meets, and even discuss mechanics or any other issues that arise from being a biker. Learn, teach, lurk, its up to you. It’s a community of like minded people that enjoy riding the open road, in the mud, or a mix of adventure and the socialising afterward, and discussions about various topics. Those that enjoy the race track or dirt riders can join in on the fun as well.
Although any one can join and use the site and tools, Southern Rider is targeted for the New Zealand's "South Island" riders, events and the going ons will mainly be for them. You can submit an event for the North Island. (but you may be limited in response you get from it)
You need to register to get the use of all the available tools. There are a variety of tools at your disposal;
Many of the the tools are available to non registered members to view only. ie part of the forum and wiki. But to post and take part in the community you need to register.
Southern Ride is 100% free to register & use, advert free, no subs or subscription fees.
